Your key responsibilities will be:
- Oversee the engineering team in the development of scalable digital platforms in the CRM Domain.
- Bear responsibility for content within their field of expertise.
- Exhibit recognized expertise in at least one relevant technology or topic.
- Drive interfaces to other systems, ensuring seamless collaboration and integration.
- Lead and guide teams from junior to senior levels.
- Provide outstanding customer service and manage relationships with diverse customers.
- Embody the Merkle DACH vision and serve as a company ambassador.
- Contribute to the vision and strategy of the team.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for pitches and client work.
- Fluent communication in both German and English.
- Excellent knowledge of CRM systems e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics (Backend and Frontend).
- Be able to implement efficient, scalable, and maintainable CRM solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Experience in leading and managing project development in Agile or Scrum environments.
- Experience with CI/CD and version control tools (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Jenkins, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines and guiding junior members.
- Provide detailed estimates of the level of effort associated to implement capabilities based on business requirements and solution design.
- Participation in pre-sales activities.
- Ability to query databases for customer data extraction and reporting.
- Ability to design & create data models according to customer requirements.
- Strong programming skills in APEX, C#, .NET, others.
- Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs for integrating CRM with other systems.
- Strong experience with Excel, Power BI, Tableau or others to analyze customer data and generate insights.
- Strong understanding of data segmentation, customer lifecycle, and personalization.
- Ability to diagnose CRM-related technical issues and provide solutions.
