This position is a fixed-term contract for 18-24 months . As a Legal Counsel, your responsibilities will include the following tasks:

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of agreements along the entire value chain of a pharmaceutical company with a focus on marketing and distribution agreements but also contracts such as CDAs, or service agreements or intercompany agreements.
• Provide business-focused and reliable legal advice to internal stakeholders on various topics, such as marketing and distribution activities, sourcing or medical projects.
• Identify and analyze legal risks, and develop and implement legally and economically sound solutions to mitigate them
• Identify training needs among business stakeholders and develop and present training and education on relevant legal topics
• Collaborate with the tax department on intercompany contracts and restructuring projects
• Coordinate and manage external counsel as required for advice across various jurisdictions
  
  

YOUR PROFILE

• Fully qualified Lawyer ("Volljurist*in") or equivalent education, preferably with additional qualification such as LL.M.
• Several years of experience in an international law firm or industry, ideally in a pharmaceutical company
• Excellent knowledge of commercial and contract law, preferably knowledge of pharmaceutical and medical law
• Expertise in drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex contracts
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to present complex issues to various target groups
• Independent, proactive, and customer-oriented working style
• Team player with intercultural competence, strong communication, and excellent organizational skills
