Your future challenges:

As a Junior Network & Datacenter Engineer (f/m/x), you will be part of our Network & Data Center team in Frankfurt, playing a key role in configuring, maintaining, and supporting our server and network infrastructure. You ensure that our platforms run reliably, efficiently, and securely. In addition to technical operations, you will act as a point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, actively supporting troubleshooting and problem resolution. Through precise documentation and responsibility in asset management, you keep our systems up to date and compliant. Your tasks include:

• 
  Configuration and maintenance of server and network hardware (switches, servers)
  
• 
  Supporting the commissioning of new systems in the data center
  
• 
  Proactive monitoring and maintenance of infrastructure to ensure high availability
  
• 
  Responsibility for handling tickets in the internal ticket system
  
• 
  Asset management and documentation of all relevant hardware and network information
  
• 
  Close coordination with internal departments and external service providers
  
• 
  Support in 1st and 2nd level troubleshooting for network and server issues
  

Your Skills:

• 
  Initial practical experience in network or data center operations
  
• 
  Good knowledge of configuring network and server hardware
  
• 
  Solid technical understanding of network infrastructures (switching, routing)
  
• 
  Hands-on mentality with a strong sense of responsibility for system operations and maintenance
  
• 
  Basic knowledge of IT documentation and asset management
  
• 
  Experience with ticketing systems is a plus
  
• 
  Strong communication skills in both German and English for working with internal and external partners
  
• 
  Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
  
• 
  Flexibility to work on-site at the Frankfurt office 1–2 days per week within a hybrid work setup
