This is your job:

• Implement approved changes to the Windows Server environment, including operating system upgrades, patching, role installations, and configuration modifications.
• Administer and implement changes within Active Directory, including user and group management, Group Policy Object (GPO) modifications, and domain controller maintenance.
• Deploy, configure, and manage virtual machines and their resources within both VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V platforms.
• Execute changes related to the virtual infrastructure, such as host updates, cluster reconfigurations, resource pool adjustments, and virtual network modifications.
• Implement and maintain high availability and disaster recovery configurations within the virtualized environment.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to Windows Server, Active Directory, Hyper-V, and VMware.
• Participate in the planning and execution of infrastructure projects aimed at improving efficiency, scalability, and resilience.
• Develop and maintain documentation for server, Active Directory, and virtualization configurations, processes, and change procedures.
• Adhere to established change management protocols and contribute to their refinement.
• Collaborate with other IT teams (networking, storage, security, applications) to ensure seamless integration of changes.
• Provide technical support and guidance on Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies.
  
  

Your qualifications:

• Proven experience administering and implementing changes in Windows Server environments (e.g., Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, 2022).
• Strong experience in Active Directory administration, including user and group management, GPO management, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with managing and implementing changes in VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi hosts and vCenter Server.
• Hands-on experience with managing and implementing changes in Microsoft Hyper-V environments, including standalone hosts and Failover Clusters.
• Familiarity with networking concepts relevant to virtualized environments (VLANs, virtual switches).
• Understanding of storage concepts and their integration with virtualization platforms (e.g., SAN, NAS, datastores, virtual hard disks).
• Experience with change management processes and best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
