Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with experience of supporting capital projects?

We have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. With excellent people skills, you have a proven ability to work in partnership at all levels. The projects will include a diverse mix of projects in the Biopharma, Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences sectors across the DACH region.

Responsibilities

• Electrical Design as part of a multi discipline projects team throughout all project phases
• Generating detailed scope of work packages for Electrical contractor for tender / procurement process
• Specification and procurement of Electrical System Components including IT and Life Safety systems
• Attend and participate in client and PM Group meetings
• Leading of meetings with clients, vendors, contractors, and other discipline engineers
• Coordination of interfaces with other disciplines and/or project pareticipants
• Preparation of Electrical Deliverables, including system schematics, wiring and block diagrams, Electrical Services layouts, schedules, load studies etc.
• Undertake value engineering activities and implement new technologies where they are required to provide costs effective solutions for our clients
• Project Management and control of Electrical Project scope including cost estimates and reporting
• Support Constructability and Safety reviews
• Support the site CM team during construction with RFI clarifications (SDC)
• Review project scope, budget and schedule
• Ability to manage workload of multiple projects of varying complexity
  
  

Qualifications

• BE/ME degree or equivalent in Engineering along with 5+ years’ experience in Electrical Construction/Engineering environments
• Demonstrable experience in the complete suite of electrical engineering design services. This include (but is not limited to) MV and LV power distribution, generators, UPS systems, lighting & emergency lighting, small power, voice / data, cable containment, fire alarm, security, lightning protection, earthing & bonding, hazardous areas, etc.
• Knowledge of the latest technical regulations, codes of practice and check of compliance with client specifications and local norms and standards
• Chartered E-Engineer in Germany preferred
• Good verbal and written communication skills required
• Self-starter and can take initiative with assigned tasks and objectives
• Candidate must have proficiency in a windows based environment and software (Word, PowerPoint, project, advanced excel and access)
• Willingness to travel within DACH
• Professional working proficiency in English and German language
• A strong ethical approach to safety, quality and environmental protection
