Are you looking for an opportunity to work for a global brand where you can apply your finance expertise, lead a team, and grow with a dynamic company? We are looking for a driven and experienced Finance Manager – Germany, based in Frankfurt, to lead our finance function in the country and contribute to the region’s financial success. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in managing financial operations, driving business control, and supporting strategic decision-making across our growing European operations.



Responsibilities of the Role

  • Lead and develop the finance team in Germany, ensuring day-to-day financial operations run efficiently and in line with Group policies and standards.
  • Deliver timely and accurate management reports for the country and the region to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, IFRS, and internal policies.
  • Manage cash flow, authorize payments, and implement payment control procedures to minimize risk.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy, timely invoicing, and collection.
  • Coordinate audit processes in Germany and support audits across the region.
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance measurement initiatives in collaboration with Group Finance.
  • Provide strategic business control and financial analysis to improve regional performance.
  • Promote effective internal communication and collaboration across finance teams within the region.
  • Maintain productive relationships with banking partners, auditors, and other external stakeholders.



Qualifications

  • Professional qualification (e.g. bilanzbuchhalter, ACCA, or equivalent), bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field desirable.
  • Proven experience in finance management, ideally within a multinational or regional setting.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS, German accounting standards, and local tax regulations.
  • Expertise in using Sage X3 for finance operations (preferable)
  • Exceptional analytical, reporting, and financial planning skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage people effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across cultures and functions.
  • Experience in the aviation industry is a plus.
  • Fluent in English and German (must)
