Trading & Clearing (T&C) is a division within Deutsche Börse Group and home of Xetra, Eurex, 360T as well es the European Energy Exchange. The Trading & Clearing Strategy section supports the development of the long-term organic and inorganic growth strategy from a division perspective. It maintains an ongoing business intelligence, manages organic and inorganic strategic projects, and acts as the interface to other areas within Deutsche Börse. The Project & Portfolio Management team serves as a Center of Excellence for Project Management and ensures overall alignment of the change portfolio with the business strategy

As a Project Manager you actively contribute to the execution of the Trading & Clearing strategy and thus the delivery on our strategic ambitions. You are responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects in line with our organizational frameworks and regulatory requirements. You oversee all aspects of projects, set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor progress and report on status to upper management. As member of the Project & Portfolio Management team, you additionally contribute to the creation and execution of a Portfolio Management function for major entities of the Trading & Clearing division.

Your Responsibilities

• You take full ownership of T&C projects by understanding their strategic context, defining clear objectives, and establishing robust governance structures, project plans, and timelines
• Monitoring project performance across scope, budget, and timeline, proactively managing risks and adapting plans to ensure successful delivery
• You ensure projects deliver on scope and are completed on time, meet external & internal quality standards, regulatory requirements and stakeholder expectations
• You create and manage comprehensive project documentation, and address audit findings with a solution-oriented mindset
• Coordinating cross-functional teams, fostering strong stakeholder relationships, and ensuring seamless communication across all levels of the organization
• You actively contribute to the creation and execution of an enhanced portfolio management function for the T&C division, contributing to long-term strategic growth
  
  
  

Your profile

• You have at least 5 years professional experience as Project Manager with proven success in both Waterfall and Agile project environments
• PMI/PMP certification is an advantage
• You have comprehensive knowledge of financial market functionalities, and you understand the T&C business model
• You have a strong focus on delivery with a high level of ownership and accountability for assigned tasks and responsibilities
• You demonstrated the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
• You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to adapt communication style to different levels of seniority
• Your profile is rounded off by strong MS Office application skills (including SharePoint and MS Teams), and a good understanding of implementation management in Jira
• German language skills will be an asset; proficiency in written and spoken English is a must
• Proficiency in written and spoken English; German language skills are a plus
