EPAM is seeking an experienced Director of Account Management to join our team in Germany. This critical role involves managing and nurturing key client relationships within the Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical industry. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, profitability and client satisfaction across your portfolio while ensuring seamless project delivery in collaboration with our delivery teams. To be successful in this role, you must be fully fluent in German and have the flexibility to travel as needed.

- Develop and implement business strategies within the Pharma and MedTech sectors to help clients achieve their business goals
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with senior client stakeholders across multiple accounts
- Drive revenue growth by expanding existing client relationships and securing new business opportunities
- Create and manage strategic account plans aligned with client business objectives and EPAM’s service offerings
- Lead the development of RFP responses and proposals, and deliver compelling presentations to clients
- Define engagement scope, shape solutions, develop financial forecasts, and establish effective operating models to support successful delivery
- Collaborate closely with EPAM’s senior leadership, business unit heads, solution experts and delivery teams
- Stay informed on emerging trends, challenges and opportunities within the Life Sciences industry, and understand how these impact client businesses
- Proven track record in developing global accounts in the Pharma sector, with at least 7 years of experience in account management roles
- Ability to speak German to a fully fluent level is mandatory for this role
- Industry knowledge encompassing one or more of: Pharma: R&D (Drug Discover, Research and Early Development), Operations, Clinical, Commercialization, Supply Chain and Manufacturing
- BA or BS degree in: computer science, engineering, business, marketing or pharmaceutical chemistry
- Successful track record in large deal negotiations and closing
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills
- Ability to travel on an as needed basis (up to 50%)
