We are seeking a talented and experienced Head of Engineering to lead our supply chain engineering group. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the direction of the group’s strategy and architecture, while overseeing the delivery of the group and developing its talent into leaders. You will work closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet the end user’s needs and drive operational excellence.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Head of Engineering to lead our supply chain engineering group. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the direction of the group’s strategy and architecture, while overseeing the delivery of the group and developing its talent into leaders. What you'll do:
- You will lead a group of empowered teams to design, build, and scale Emma’s technology platform, helping us become a global leader in sleep comfort products. Your work will directly impact our customers’ experiences and the quality of our offerings.
- You will shape and drive the technical strategy and vision for the group, aligning the group’s objectives with the company’s.
- You will own the group’s delivery, driving predictable progress through proactive risk identification and mitigation, while ensuring clear, timely communication with stakeholders at every stage.
- You will champion continuous improvement and innovation, using well-established principles like continuous delivery, SRE, and DevOps to enhance our delivery speed and quality.
- You will work to foster a highly engaged, collaborative and psychologically safe environment in the teams you oversee, focused on continuous improvement.
- You will play a key role in attracting, recruiting, developing and retaining great engineering talent.
- You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, data, and business, to define and achieve a data-informed roadmap, measurable KPIs, and a compelling mission.
- You will lead, coach, mentor, and support Engineering Mangers and Staff Engineers in achieving their full potential, fostering a high-performance culture through clear roles, career pathing, and regular development feedback.
- Strong leadership skills, with a track record of building and growing high-performing teams, while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- You bring a strong background in computer science fundamentals, including data structures, object-oriented programming, software design patterns, and continuous delivery.
- You have excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical challenges into business impact.
- You excel at people management, promoting inclusivity and psychological safety.
- You can motivate, coach, and develop engineering talent by fostering an open and innovative team culture.
- You are a highly proactive and resourceful problem solver, with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to navigate and influence technical and strategic decisions.
- You have strong analytical skills, business acumen, and are an open-minded and creative team player that challenges directly while caring deeply.
- You have a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer or electrical engineering, business informatics, or equivalent work experience.
