Meet the Team
At the heart of Cisco Networking’s evolution is a passionate, world-changing team that empowers our partners, customers, and internal communities. We drive innovation through strategic collaboration, immersive training, and impactful engagements—transforming creative ideas into dynamic solutions that shape industries from healthcare to smart cities. As everything converges on the Internet, our work makes connections more meaningful than ever. This role offers the flexibility to engage with groundbreaking technology, influence customer success, and grow your career within a winning, cross-functional team that’s redefining what’s possible.
Your Impact
We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Networking Expert as part of our sales team to lead customer-facing workshops, proof of concept activities, and strategic engagements focused on Cisco networking products across wireless, switching and routing – managed on-prem or in the cloud. This role is ideal for someone who excels at translating complex network architectures into clear, actionable insights—empowering customers, partners, and internal teams through education and technical guidance.
You will participate in strategic sales initiatives and understand the needs of our customers to deliver comprehensive Cisco networking solutions through product demonstrations, presentations, technical inquiries, and tailored proposals that provide business outcomes to our customers. You will work closely with sales teams to identify and qualify new business opportunities for Cisco networking solutions.
You will build and nurture strong relationships with key contacts at our largest customers to be their trusted advisor in all things Cisco networking.
In addition to customer engagement, you will maintain a deep understanding of Cisco's Cloud (e.g., Meraki) and On-Prem (e.g., Catalyst) products, staying informed about new features and industry trends and collaborate closely with our business units and product teams—providing field feedback and influencing product direction.
Minimum Qualifications
#WeAreCisco where every individual brings their unique skills and perspectives together to pursue our purpose of powering an inclusive future for all.
Our passion is connection—we celebrate our employees’ diverse set of backgrounds and focus on unlocking potential. Cisconians often experience one company, many careers where learning and development are encouraged and supported at every stage. Our technology, tools, and culture pioneered hybrid work trends, allowing all to not only give their best, but be their best.
We understand our outstanding opportunity to bring communities together and at the heart of that is our people. One-third of Cisconians collaborate in our 30 employee resource organizations, called Inclusive Communities, to connect, foster belonging, learn to be informed allies, and make a difference. Dedicated paid time off to volunteer—80 hours each year—allows us to give back to causes we are passionate about, and nearly 86% do!
Our purpose, driven by our people, is what makes us the worldwide leader in technology that powers the internet. Helping our customers reimagine their applications, secure their enterprise, transform their infrastructure, and meet their sustainability goals is what we do best.
