Regional Market Manager (all genders welcome) within our Sales department of the Kia Europe Headquarters in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.

Job Mission

As a Regional Market Manager, you will be an expert on the assigned Distributor markets at Kia Europe, the key driver behind rolling EU's strategic priorities with the markets and the main point of contact and support for the assigned markets. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven colleague to steer a set of European Distributor Markets into achieving Kia EU's strategic goals and drive growth and operational excellence within the assigned area of responsibility.

Your Responsibilities

  • Proactive Market Management of assigned Area of Responsibility (AOR) consisting of several Distributor Markets:
  • Overall ORDER / SALES performance management–ensuring target compliance through market performance tracking, identification of Risks and Opportunities, proactive preparation of recovery and growth plans.
  • Annual Business Plan (ABP) management – driving all aspects of the process in individual AOR - Long Term plan, Business Plan analysis, Volume/Incentive budget negotiation with markets, Mid-year Business Reviews.
  • Monthly/Weekly Sales forecasting - identifying and reporting risks and opportunities through monitoring and steering market performance and proposing solutions to mitigate risks/utilize opportunities.
  • Incentive Budget management - ensuring Incentive Budget compliance by monitoring, balancing and where required - negotiating with markets ad-hock Incentive Budget changes/proposals.
  • Risk/Liquidity management–managing company risk exposure through optimization of payment set up where needed and order security management in close cooperation with Finance.
  • Facilitating Distributors' issues with other departments where required (e.g. Product, Pricing, Finance, Network, Customer Experience, etc).
  • Stakeholder Management - act as a bridge between markets and Regional HQ Kia Europe, ensuring clear communication and alignment on business priorities.
  • Influence and drive decisions among RHQ executives to achieve shared goals.
  • Legal compliance–ensuring timely follow up on issues related to WSA, contracts, trademark agreements etc.
  • Conducting regular market visits.

Education

Your Talents:

  • University degree (Master level is a plus)

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years in the automotive industry;
  • Ideally 2 years in a sales management role with a strong understanding of sales business and processes of the dealer and local NSC
  • Familiarity with sales program creation and market analysis.

  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills for discussions at senior management level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to successfully communicate.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on meeting set targets and deadlines
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate market trends and take initiative.
  • Collaborative approach with a focus on building strong relationships across departments and regions.
  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Fluent in English, additional European languages are advantageous.
