Senior Specialist Working Capital Finance / VP or Director level - #2215446

The Working Capital Finance Team at Commerzbank is part of the wider Asset Finance division and focuses on delivering working capital and other bespoke financing solutions to clients of Commerzbank in the DACH region. Our financings range from standardised products to more bespoke solutions delivering clients any combination of liquidity, risk transfer and balance sheet management solutions. Standardised products include Borrowing Base Finance and platform-based Supply Chain Finance solutions. Bespoke solutions are also offered for Trade Receivables, Supply Chain Finance and Inventory Finance, not fitting the standardised products.

You will be responsible for originating, structuring and executing client transactions across the working capital space. Your role will include building and/or developing existing external networks with Mid- and Large-Cap clients across the DACH region and managing internal networks as a product expert.

Your tasks/h3>

• Originate, structure and execute new transactions in the Working Capital Finance product space (Supply Chain Finance, Borrowing Base Finance / Inventory Finance, Structured Receivable Finance) with clients across the DACH region, focusing i.a. on Switzerland
• Build networks and collaborate with Relationship Managers and other client-facing colleagues to promote the Working Capital Finance product suite and identifying new clients
• Undertake working capital analysis of existing and target clients and contribute to the development of new and existing product solutions to drive new business growth
• Cooperate closely with colleagues from the Asset Finance team to ensure that business opportunities relevant to the wider group are identified and can be actioned
  
  

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance, or an equivalent qualification / level of professional experience
• 5 years’ experience in delivering Working Capital Finance solutions to Mid- and Large-Cap clients in the DACH region
• Established network and experience working with Mid- and Large-Cap clients in the DACH region
• Understanding of, and experience in delivering, platform-based solutions to clients, particularly in the Supply Chain Finance space
• Advanced analytical, influencing and communications skills, with the ability to look at issues creatively and bring a problem-solving attitude
• Experience of collaborating with colleagues in Sales and Operations teams
• Mother-tongue, or near-native fluency, in both German and English, with the ability to conduct client and internal negotiations. Additional language skills would also be advantageous
