BD Sector Senior Manager, Technology – The Role

• Play a pivotal role in delivering the firm’s Clients & Sectors strategy for the Technology sector
• Develop, articulate and execute a clear Technology sector strategy aligned with firm-wide priorities, focusing on profitable revenue growth
• Leverage data, sector and market intelligence, and client feedback to inform strategy and execution
• Drive and manage Technology sector-specific business development and client-targeting initiatives, collaborating closely with BDM teams and lawyers
• Oversee the creation and execution of high-impact go-to-market campaigns and pitches
• Build effective relationships with Sector Leaders, Relationship Partners, client teams, and cross-practice colleagues to enable cross-selling and coordinated client engagement
• Regularly review the client portfolio and identify new clients, industry trends, and opportunities for strategic growth
• Ensure robust targets and key performance indicators are in place, monitoring market trends and adjusting strategies for continued revenue improvement
• Support the analysis of “white spaces” in client relationships and oversee progress on action plans and client feedback initiatives
• Foster collaboration and best practice sharing within the Technology sector and with other sector teams
  
  

BD Sector Senior Manager, Technology – What we’re looking for:

• Significant BD manager level experience in a global sector-focused BD role within legal or professional services
• Deep understanding of the Technology sector, including key trends such as artificial intelligence (AI), digital transformation and digital regulation
• Proven success in developing and implementing sector-specific BD strategies that drive growth and cross-selling
• Experience working with US-headquartered clients (desirable)
• Strong track record of working with senior partners and relationship managers in a matrix law firm environment
• Data-driven approach, with strong experience in using insights to influence strategy and pipeline management
• Skilled in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and priorities
• Effective communicator, relationship builder, and team player, with an inclusive, forward-thinking mindset
• Experience supporting client meetings, pitches, and market-leading proposal development
