About The Role

Role Overview

proAV are a leading global audio visual integrator, providing AV and event services across multiple client partnerships globally.

Our immediate requirement is for a motivated and detail-orientated Junior Audio-Visual Project Engineer to be a key part of our Frankfurt team, representing proAV taking full responsibility for supporting the design, planning, and implementation of AV systems for corporate, education, and commercial environments. A key part of the position includes creating and maintaining CAD documentation, assisting in system schematics, and supporting project delivery under the guidance of senior engineers and project managers.

This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional, experienced Junior AV Project Engineer to join an established operation with scope to drive and enhance the service at every opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and engineering of AV systems, including video conferencing, audio distribution, control systems, and digital signage.
• Produce and maintain CAD drawings and technical documentation for AV installations.
• Support project managers with site surveys, equipment specifications, and system layouts.
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure technical accuracy and quality.
• Review equipment lists and system schematics.
• Participate in system testing, configuration, and commissioning support.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AV technologies and industry trends.
  
  

Required Skills

• Degree or technical training in electrical engineering, media technology, or related field.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (experience with 3D is a plus).
• Strong technical understanding of AV components (audio, video, control systems).
• Excellent communication skills in English and German (written and spoken).
• Team-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn.
• 1–2 years of experience in AV or related industries (internship or entry-level roles considered).
• Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites in Germany and abroad.
