Oracle Database Administrator - #2622025

We are hiring an experienced Oracle DBA (Level 3) to support and manage high-performance, mission-critical Oracle database environments in a global enterprise setup.

Location: Frankfurt, Germany

Support Model: 24x7 Global Support Environment

Work Mode: Hybrid - 2-3 days a week onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide production support for large-scale Oracle database environments.
• Manage Oracle 11gR1/R2 RAC environments including administration, troubleshooting, tuning, and implementation.
• Administer Oracle Clusterware (GRID Infrastructure), ASM, and Dataguard.
• Handle backup and recovery activities using RMAN, datapump, export/import.
• Monitor and maintain databases through Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control.
• Perform Exadata health checks, migration activities, patching, upgrades, and resource management.
• Analyze and resolve database performance issues and collaborate with development teams for root cause analysis.
• Support mission-critical systems with high availability and stability requirements.

Required Skills & Experience.

Strong Oracle DBA experience with at least 6+ years in Exadata environments.

• Strong hands-on expertise in:
• Oracle Exadata
• RAC
• ASM
• Dataguard
• Performance Tuning
• RMAN
• Oracle GRID Infrastructure
• Experience with Exadata storage cells and Infiniband switch management.
• Strong SQL optimization and database tuning capabilities.
• Hands-on scripting experience with Shell scripting/automation.
• Experience working on Solaris, Linux, and AIX platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with ITIL-based Change & Release Management processes.
• Excellent communication skills in English; German language skills are an advantage.
