About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a world-renowned cloud and data center operator to scale their global infrastructure teams. As a vital part of our international operations, you will be working with state-of-the-art technology to ensure the seamless performance, security, and reliability of hyper-scale data centers.
URGENT: We are currently fast-tracking applications for our Frankfurt, Germany site. Immediate start dates are available.
We are hiring across three core technical tracks at the Technician, Engineer, and Expert levels:
Tech-IDC-IT Operations (Server & Network)
Ensure the heart of our cloud infrastructure beats without interruption.
IT Operations Technician
- Shift: Perform 24/7 rotating data center duty to ensure continuous operational stability.
- Responsibilities: Execute daily work orders accurately and efficiently. Perform hardware troubleshooting, break-fix, and routine server maintenance. Act as the first line of defense and actively participate in on-site emergency incident responses.
IT Operations Engineer
- Shift: Standard 5x8 work schedule with on-call requirements.
- Responsibilities: Manage complex work orders and escalated tickets. Deep-dive into Operations & Maintenance (O&M) incident analysis to identify trends and root causes. Drive the implementation of continuous optimization measures. Participate in and actively organize on-site emergency response protocols.
IT Operations Expert
- Shift: Standard 5x8 work schedule with strategic oversight.
- Responsibilities: Act as the ultimate technical authority on-site. Organize comprehensive O&M incident analysis and design strategic optimization measures. Lead and command on-site emergency responses, ensuring minimal downtime and strict adherence to SLAs.
Track 2: Tech-IDC-Asset Management
Drive 100% accuracy and efficiency in our hardware lifecycle.
Asset Technician
- Responsibilities: Execute day-to-day physical asset management. Seamlessly handle inbound receiving, outbound shipping, RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) processing, and cycle counts. Maintain an unwavering commitment to 100% asset accuracy and site safety standards.
Asset Engineer
- Responsibilities: Oversee daily asset operations and conduct rigorous physical asset audits and inspections. Generate accurate Metric & KPI reports for senior leadership. Manage, mentor, and train a team of Asset Technicians, handling daily task delegation and resource management. Serve as the first point of escalation for operational roadblocks, utilizing standard Asset SOPs and management platforms.
Asset Expert
- Responsibilities: Lead a regional team of Asset Engineers, supporting cross-regional Asset Management operations. Deliver and spearhead large-scale regional IDC programs and strategic initiatives. Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and primary trainer for new Engineers. Handle complex escalations and optimize global asset workflows.
Track 3: Tech-IDC-Facility Engineering (FE)
Maintain the critical power, cooling, and infrastructure that keeps us online.
Facility Technician
- Shift: Execute 7/24 rotating shifts for continuous facility monitoring.
- Responsibilities: Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS). Provide immediate alarm response, conduct routine facility patrols, and manage urgent infrastructure tickets. Escort and supervise external vendors on-site.
Facility Engineer
- Responsibilities: Plan, schedule, and execute routine preventative maintenance for all critical data center infrastructure (HVAC, UPS, generators, etc.). Troubleshoot and handle complex fault incidents. Track facility risks and implement systemic optimizations. Coordinate shift scheduling, mentor junior technicians, and manage on-site emergency facility responses.
Facility Expert
- Responsibilities: Provide high-level oversight for site security, risk management, disaster drill planning, capacity, availability, and cost management. Continuously optimize processes to maximize PUE and operational efficiency. Coordinate escalated facility incidents, lead root cause analysis (RCA), and conduct post-incident reviews. Direct on-site team management and technical training programs.
Qualifications & Requirements
Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency is mandatory. You must speak fluent Mandarin (to communicate with global engineering HQs) AND fluent English (or the local language of the site, e.g., German).
Experience:
- Technician: 0-2+ years of relevant experience.
- Engineer: 3-5+ years of relevant experience.
- Expert: 5-8+ years of leadership/SME experience in a relevant field.
Attributes: Strong problem-solving skills, ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment, and a meticulous attention to detail.
