In Germany, we are expanding our presence and building a strong local team to support the launch and growth of the Chery brand. We are looking for experienced professionals to join us in shaping the future of mobility and building a competitive retail network across the German market.
Your Role
As Senior Dealer Network Development Manager, you will lead the development and expansion of Chery’s retail dealer network in Germany. The role is responsible for identifying strategic dealer partners, driving network expansion, and ensuring the successful establishment of retail operations in line with Chery’s global standards. You will work closely with headquarters and local teams to support the successful market launch and sustainable growth of the Chery brand.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement the retail network strategy for the German market in alignment with HQ strategic planning and budget.
• Lead commercial negotiations with dealer groups and drive dealer network expansion across the territory to achieve business objectives for both the brand and retail partners.
• Manage the end-to-end dealer development process, including identifying potential dealer groups, evaluating and qualifying partners, negotiating agreements, and supporting store opening.
• Lead the establishment and activation of retail locations and ensure compliance with Chery’s retail VI/SI standards.
• Monitor and evaluate dealer network performance and provide analysis reports and improvement recommendations.
• Provide timely market intelligence and competitor analysis to support strategic planning and decision making.
• Lead the planning and execution of pop-up exhibitions and temporary retail formats, including location selection, setup, brand materials installation, launch activities and lead collection.
Your Profile
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in automotive retail network development, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing dealer networks.
• Proven experience in dealer network establishment and management within the automotive industry.
• Strong resources and relationships with dealer groups and automotive retail partners in the European market.
• Strong project management skills, preferably with experience in site selection, retail construction approval processes and franchise standards implementation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong ability to work under pressure with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Fluent in English; German proficiency is highly preferred.
• Willingness to travel frequently within Germany and across the region.
