An established, publicly listed technology investment platform is looking to hire a high-calibre Principal to join its investment team in Frankfurt.

This is a strategically important hire for the firm as it continues to scale its investment activity across the DACH region and broader European technology landscape. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership on sourcing, executing, and managing investments into high-growth technology businesses.

The successful individual will be deeply passionate about technology investing, highly entrepreneurial in mindset, and genuinely excited by the process of originating opportunities and leading transactions from first interaction through to value creation.

The Opportunity

You will play a key role in:

• Origination of proprietary investment opportunities across the technology ecosystem
• Building long-term relationships with founders, entrepreneurs, advisers, and management teams
• Leading financial analysis, commercial assessment, valuation work, and transaction execution
• Driving investment theses and identifying emerging technology trends
• Supporting portfolio companies on strategic growth initiatives and M&A
• Working directly alongside a collaborative and highly ambitious leadership team

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will likely have:

• 7–10 years of experience within private equity, growth equity, venture capital, or technology-focused investment banking
• Strong transaction experience across technology or software-related sectors
• A genuine passion for technology businesses and innovation
• Proven origination capabilities and a commercially driven mindset
• Strong financial modelling and execution skillset
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
• Fluency in German and English preferred
