To strengthen our Finance team, we are looking for a professional, highly motivated, and detail-oriented Team Lead Accounting (m/f/d). In this role, you will oversee operational accounting, optimize processes, and lead a dedicated team of three (03) accountants. Your insights and expertise will contribute directly to strategic decision-making and support the continued growth of our business. The position is located in Frankfurt am Main, on the 24th floor of the iconic Messeturm, offering a modern and inspiring workspace with breathtaking views.

The Role/Responsibilities:

• Prepare periodic and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS for multiple entities
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of accountants, providing guidance on day-to-day activities and fostering accountability
• Ensure adherence to local (HGB) and corporate accounting and reporting standards (IFRS, SOX)
• Drive continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems
• Act as the primary contact for auditors, tax authorities, and external partners, including handling tax matters related to drop-shipment transactions
• Work closely with Controlling, Procurement, Inside Sales, and other departments
• Review, approve, and manage outgoing payments
• Support group-wide projects and organizational changes

Profile/Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Tax, Accounting, or a comparable qualification (e.g., certified accountant with IHK certification)
• 8+ years of professional experience in operational accounting, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment
• Hands-on experience in people management, with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop team members
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to build, develop, and motivate high-performing teams. You foster collaboration, communicate clearly, and lead with authenticity and approachability.
• Excellent financial and business acumen paired with strong conceptual and execution skills
• A positive, empathetic, and assertive personality with credibility, loyalty, and self-confidence
• Proficient in MS Excel; knowledge of Navision, Power BI, JetReports, and SAP BPC is an advantage
• Fluency in German and English is required; additional European languages are a plus
• Willingness to travel occasionally (approx. 35%) to the production site in Pritzwalk
