Job Description Summary:
Are you an experienced marketing professional who loves variety? Then become part of our international marketing team! As the Marketing Manager for Germany, you will be responsible for marketing, brand awareness, demand and growth. You will be responsible for the planning, execution and measurement of marketing campaigns across all channels using earned, owned and paid media. You will report directly to the Senior Director Marketing International and liaise closely with the global marketing team to ensure Germany content, brand and performance requirements are met.
Your role:
- Local Event Management to Drive Higher Impact
Responsibilities include:
- Be responsible for the organisation, coordination of trade fair appearances, proprietary events and speaking opportunities in Germany, on-site and digitally
- Drive stronger attendance and engagement through locally relevant campaigns.
- Manage onsite execution, ensuring a consistent and premium brand experience.
- Strengthen partner and association relationships to increase reach and credibility.
- Dedicated Sales Enablement & Pitch Support
Sales teams require tailored, culturally aligned enablement materials and direct marketing support during client engagements for D2C and Omnicom engagements. Localize sales collateral, pitch decks, case studies, and proposals for German audiences.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting sales teams in high-stakes pitches, providing tailored messaging, proof points, and market insights
- Enabling reps with local competitive intelligence, industry insights, and German-specific customer narratives.
- Develop industry- and account-specific materials that resonate with German decision-makers.
- Act as the bridge between marketing strategy and sales execution, ensuring consistency and relevance.
- Demand Generation and Sales Alignment
Responsibilities include:
- Management of marketing campaigns with CRM (Salesforce), Marketing Automation (Marketo) liaising with the marketing ops team for execution
- Implementation of paid media campaigns for new customer acquisition as well as for cross- and up-selling across channels (e.g. advertorials, ABM, social, email, newsletter)
- Manage lead capture, qualification, and distribution to sales.
- Ensure GDPR-compliant processes for data handling and targeting.
- Report on lead outcomes and optimize performance based on data.
- Maintain tight alignment with the sales team to prioritize high-intent opportunities.
- Content, Comms and PR to Strengthen Brand Trust
Responsibilities include:
- Lead and manage Germany PR and comms incl. creation of press releases, professional articles and advertorials, measurement of share of voice and placement in relevant key media and via OTS, in coordination with our external PR agency
- Crafting German-language CRM, nurture, and lifecycle communications.
- Management of social media channels, localizing social media content to reflect local market tone and expectations.
- Creation & production of content and marketing materials and management of translations, e.g. for newsletters, website, eBooks, brochures, business cards
- Responsibility, maintenance and development of the Germany website, taking into account SEO measures and international specifications. Including QA’ing and optimizing the German website for clarity, accuracy, and cultural fit. Working in coordination with external consultant
Your qualifications:
- Specialised marketing qualification or equivalent
- Demonstrable experience of strategic and operational work experience, preferably in B2B marketing
- Strong project management and management skills
- Strong communication and written skills
- Creativity and ability to proactively inspire others with ideas
- Experience with content management systems (e.g. WordPress), marketing automation and CRM tools, ideally Marketo and Salesforce, as well as knowledge of SEO, SEA, social media tools (e.g. Sprout Social)
- Demand generation and account-based marketing are not alien to you
- Experience in planning, budget management and reporting
- German speaking - fluent
- English-speaking - very good knowledge of spoken and written English
