PE Global Energy & Technology are seeking candidates with specialized expertise for a leading European turnkey data centre delivery partner managing Data Centre Projects in multiple European Countries for the world’s top global hyperscale tech giants and premier colocation providers. We are inviting applicants with extensive hyperscale, mission-critical, or major industrial project or construction related experience who wants to be part of one of the most ambitious data centre developments currently underway in Europe.
Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Document Controller to join a major data centre project in Frankfurt. The successful candidate will support the senior team in maintaining the efficient and smooth operation of a fast-paced site environment.
Requirements:
- Ensure all project documentation complies with the client's Integrated Management System (IMS) standards and procedures.
- Coordinate the distribution and receipt of project documentation, ensuring all relevant stakeholders receive the information required to perform their roles effectively.
- Oversee and support the on-site Document Controller, ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely document management and distribution.
- Manage project documentation throughout its lifecycle, ensuring all parties have access to current drawings, schedules, specifications, contract correspondence, submittals, RFIs, reports, and other project records.
- Maintain and update document registers, RFI registers, action logs, issue logs, and other project control tools as required.
- Analyse, interpret, and report on the status of project registers and logs, highlighting key actions and areas requiring attention.
- Produce and distribute regular status reports, including overdue document, action, and issue reports, to support project governance and reporting requirements.
- Ensure the controlled issue, storage, retrieval, and archiving of project documentation in line with project document control procedures.
- Liaise with external consultants, contractors, and other document providers to ensure compliance with the client's document control requirements and standards.
- Support project Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Health & Safety initiatives by participating in internal and external audits and contributing to continuous improvement activities.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years’ experience in a similar site-based role
- Data Centre project experience desirable.
- High level of verbal and written English is essential
- Excellent organisation and interpersonal skills
- High level of IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience of knowledge sharing applications is advantageous
