Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated Pre-Sales Engineer to join our sales and technical team in Frankfurt, Germany.

This role is suitable for candidates who are interested in server, data center, cloud, HPC, AI, and related technologies. Prior full-time work experience is not required. We especially welcome fresh graduates with a technical or engineering background who are eager to develop their career in technical sales, solution consulting, and customer-facing engineering roles.

As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will support the sales team by providing technical expertise, preparing solution proposals, communicating with customers, and assisting with product demonstrations, proof of concepts, and technical evaluations.

Position Responsibilities

1. Provide technical pre-sales support for the company’s products and solutions.
2. Support the sales team in customer meetings, technical discussions, product introductions, and solution presentations.
3. Assist in preparing technical proposals, solution designs, and bid-related documents.
4. Understand customer requirements and help translate them into suitable technical solutions.
5. Support proof of concepts, product evaluations, and customer testing processes.
6. Work with internal teams to follow up on technical questions, product requirements, and customer feedback.
7. Prepare and deliver technical presentations for customers, partners, and internal teams.
8. Support server, cloud, data center, HPC, and AI-related solution discussions.
9. Build and maintain good technical relationships with customers and partners.
10. Support local marketing activities from a technical perspective when needed.

Position Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in a technical field, such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Automation, Telecommunications, or a related engineering discipline. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
2. Internship, university project, lab, research, or hands-on technical project experience will be considered positively.
3. Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, servers, storage, networking, cloud, data centers, HPC, or AI technologies.
4. Strong interest in new technologies, especially AI, deep learning, cloud computing, and high-performance computing.
5. Good problem-solving, analytical, and learning abilities.
6. Willingness to communicate with customers and explain technical topics clearly.
7. Ability to adapt technical explanations to different audiences.
8. Good teamwork skills and a proactive working attitude.
9. Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
10. Willingness to learn product knowledge and develop customer-facing technical skills.
11. Good command of both German and English is required for daily communication with customers, partners, and internal teams. Chinese / Mandarin language skills are aplus.
