We are currently seeking an Electrically Biased Site Manager to join a major EU data centre programme based in Frankfurt. This is a long-term contract role working on large-scale, technically complex data centre projects for a leading international delivery partner.

The Role

As Electrically Biased Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the electrical scope on site, coordinating subcontractors, managing programme and quality, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.

You will work closely with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, client representatives, and commissioning teams to drive progress through installation, testing, and handover phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all electrical works on site, from containment and cabling through to switchgear, UPS, and final connections
• Coordinate and supervise electrical subcontractors and direct labour
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and European standards
• Drive site health & safety, including RAMS reviews, permits, and toolbox talks
• Monitor programme, progress, and quality, identifying and resolving issues proactively
• Interface with commissioning teams during testing and energisation phases
• Support inspections, snagging, and final handover documentation

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or Electrical Site Manager on data centre or mission-critical projects
• Strong electrical background (trade or engineering bias)
• Experience working on EU-based construction projects
• Solid understanding of HV/LV systems, UPS, generators, and critical power infrastructure
• Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills
• Strong health & safety awareness and leadership on site
• Fluent English required; German is advantageous but not essential
• Right to work in the EU (or ability to work in Germany on contract basis)
