Sedgman and HOCHTIEF Infrastructure have been appointed as the Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management contractor for Vulcan’s Lionheart Project, delivering an end-to-end solution for the Lithium Extraction Plant and Central Lithium Plant.
This marks an exciting chapter in our growth as we support major critical raw materials projects. Our team is at the forefront of delivering innovative, sustainable engineering solutions that drive the energy transition across Europe.
To support our growth, we’re looking for Project Engineers to join our team in Frankfurt am Main and Landau, Germany.
As the Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Coordinate engineering activities across disciplines to support project delivery
- Assist with project planning, scheduling and cost tracking
- Support the preparation and review of technical documentation and deliverables
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement and construction teams to ensure alignment
- Monitor progress, identify risks and support mitigation strategies
- Interface with stakeholders to support clear communication and delivery outcomes
- Contribute to commissioning, start-up and handover activities Uphold strong safety and quality standards across all project phases
You are an experienced Project Engineer with the following qualifications and background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or related discipline)
- Experience in project delivery within mining, minerals processing, energy or industrial sectors
- Exposure to EPCM or EPC project environments
- Strong coordination, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage priorities and work across multidisciplinary teams
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving capability
- International project exposure or experience working across diverse environments is advantageous Fluency in English is required; German language skills are required
