Our Hyatt Place Frankfurt Airport opened in January 2018. The hotel features 312 rooms, a meeting and events area, a restaurant and a fitness centre. Located close to Frankfurt Airport, the hotel offers excellent S-Bahn connections. Thanks to our carefully designed service concept, we provide our guests with all the amenities they need for a comfortable stay.

Become part of our fantastic team and inspire both our guests and colleagues as Operations Manager (m/f/d), starting 1 January or by arrangement.

Your Responsibilities

As Operations Manager at Hyatt Place Frankfurt Airport, you report directly to the General Manager. You are responsible for managing and overseeing all hotel operations, including Front Office, Food & Beverage, Banquets and Housekeeping.

• Short- and long-term planning and operational management of Front- and Back-of-House areas
• Preparing and recommending budgets and implementing all measures within approved guidelines
• Analysing operational KPIs and identifying measures to improve hotel performance
• Leading, supporting and developing colleagues
• Managing recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching and mentoring
• Conducting annual performance and salary reviews
• Preparing reports and forecasts and managing inventories and the operational budget
• Coordinating major projects, including renovations, investments and equipment changes, in cooperation with the Engineering Manager and General Manager
• Professionally handling and resolving guest complaints to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction
• Implementing processes to improve guest and colleague satisfaction
• Providing ongoing training to ensure the implementation of Hyatt service standards and procedures
  
  

Qualifications

Your Profile

• Previous management experience is an advantage
• Proven leadership skills and strong leadership capabilities
• Confident and respectful interaction with people from diverse social, cultural, ethnic and personal backgrounds, including people with disabilities
• A degree or qualification in hotel or hospitality management is an advantage
• High energy, initiative and an entrepreneurial mindset
• A motivating and inspiring leadership style
• Proven success in implementing concepts with high guest volumes
• Excellent communication skills and an exceptional commitment to customer service
• The ability to sustainably improve the hotel’s financial performance
• Very good verbal and written communication skills in German and English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent organisational, interpersonal and administrative skills
• Flexibility, resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure
