Job Title: Entra Identity & AD Customer Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Active Directory Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise-scale AD and Entra ID environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with multi-domain forest design, hybrid identity integration, and security best practices aligned with Microsoft standards.

Forest trust planning and implementation

Domain Controller capacity planning and FSMO role placement

Organizational Unit (OU) topology design

Active Directory site topology and replication design

Group Policy strategy, design, and best practices

Privileged account management and Tier model implementation

Delegation of permissions and group management best practices

Integration of third-party LDAP applications

RODC (Read-Only Domain Controller) deployment and management

PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration management

Entra Connect configuration and synchronization

Management of hybrid identity between on-prem AD and Entra ID (Azure AD)

• Troubleshooting & Optimization
  
  

GPO policy processing and troubleshooting

Sysvol and AD replication health checks

Domain Controller performance optimization

Authentication troubleshooting, including cross-forest scenarios

• Upgrade & Maintenance
  
  

Planning and introduction of new Domain Controller OS versions

Raising domain and forest functional levels

• Operational Governance
  
  

Implementation of change control and patch management best practices

Compliance alignment with enterprise security and operational standards

• Backup & Recovery
  
  

Active Directory forest and object recovery procedures

AD health checks and validation pre/post recovery

• Networking & Security
  
  

Strong knowledge of IPv4 / IPv6 networking

Active Directory–integrated DNS with secure dynamic updates

DHCP design, management, and configuration

Windows Firewall configuration and tuning

Understanding of port and protocol requirements for Active Directory services

Preferred Skills

Experience with gMSA, LAPS, and Tiering Model

Knowledge of Health Checks / On-Demand Assessments (ODA)

Familiarity with MIPS and VBD programs for Microsoft partner environments
