Why This Role Matters in DACH
DACH enterprises face a distinctive set of pressures:
- Modernizing deeply entrenched legacy environments without disrupting operations
- Balancing global digital acceleration with local compliance, risk management, and governance
- Turning data, AI, and cloud investments into measurable value—not pilots

- Optimizing cost while maintaining quality, security, and brand trust, Gartner Consulting helps leaders navigate this complexity with evidence‑based decisions, benchmarks, and pragmatic execution.
- Advise at the highest level. Partner with senior executives to define technology strategies that directly enable business outcomes- growth, efficiency, innovation, and risk mitigation.
- Turn insight into execution. Lead hands‑on consulting engagements grounded in Gartner insights, helping clients move from “what should we do?” to “how do we make this real?”
- Drive measurable value. Help organizations modernize platforms, rationalize applications, migrate to cloud, unlock data and analytics, manage cyber risk, and optimize cost and sourcing.
- Expand account portfolio and drive revenue growth through strategic relationship development and consistently identifying and closing new opportunities.
- Lead exceptional teams. Inspire, coach, and develop high‑performing consultants who thrive on solving complex problems.
Your client work will span some of the most critical priorities facing enterprises today, including:
- Digital Acceleration & Enterprise Transformation
- Cloud Strategy and Operating Models
- Data, Analytics & AI Enablement

What Sets You Apart
- A proven background in a well‑regarded consulting firm, balancing client delivery and revenue generation
- Strong foundation in technology problem‑solving
- A track record of leading teams with a strong collaboration mindset, influencing executives, and delivering outcomes, not just recommendations
- Intellectual curiosity and the confidence to adapt Gartner’s frameworks to each client’s unique situation
- The stamina and presence to juggle multiple senior‑level client priorities without losing focus or quality
- Having established relationships in either IT shared service centres, social security agencies, justice, or finance & tax collection.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Native German fluency required
- Executive‑level relationship builders who are comfortable selling insight, not just services
- Leaders who are coachable, reflective, and hungry to get better every year
- Consistent over‑achievers who combine ambition with humility
- People energized by complexity, change, and the chance to shape how organizations evolve through technology
