At Pictet & Cie (Europe) AG (BPAG), data plays an important role across Finance, Risk, Operations, Front Office activities and regulatory reporting. The BPAG Data Office helps the Bank improve data quality, transparency and regulatory compliance while enabling business teams to make better use of information and insights. Working closely with colleagues across BPAG and the Group, you will contribute to key initiatives involving data quality, reporting, automation, regulatory data and modern data platforms.
You will help BPAG improve data quality, reporting, automation and regulatory data management across Front, Finance, Risk and Operations. The role combines hands-on data engineering, data quality monitoring and support for key business and regulatory initiatives.

You will help BPAG improve data quality, reporting, automation and regulatory data management across Front, Finance, Risk and Operations. The role combines hands-on data engineering, data quality monitoring and support for key business and regulatory initiatives.
Your role
Data Engineering:
- Design, build and maintain data solutions using SQL, Python, dbt and modern data platforms.
- Develop reports, dashboards and analytical solutions supporting the Front, Finance, Risk, Operations and other BPAG functions.
- Support the development and operation of BPAG's data platform and reporting capabilities.
- Automate data, reporting and control processes to improve efficiency and transparency.
- Implement and maintain data quality controls and monitoring for critical business and regulatory data.
- Investigate data quality issues, identify root causes and support remediation activities.
- Support the implementation of Data Ownership, Critical Data and regulatory data requirements across BPAG.
- Support BPAG's Critical Data programme and other data-related regulatory and business initiatives.
- Work directly with Front, Finance, Risk and Operations teams to improve data quality, ownership and reporting.
- Support priority BPAG initiatives involving data, including Front, Finance, Risk, Operations and regulatory projects.
- Support business users in analysing data, improving reporting and solving data-related issues.
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL and modern data platforms. Experience with Snowflake is highly desirable.
- Experience with dbt, cloud-based data platforms or workflow orchestration tools is a plus.
- Experience with Python for data engineering, automation or analytics.
- Experience building reporting, analytics or data quality solutions.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, pro-active, and able to work independently in challenging environments.
- Ability to build relationships and manage multicultural interactions.
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
- 3-6 years' experience in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Quality or a related field, preferably within financial services or a regulated environment.
- Professional certification (e.g., CDMP, CIMP) is a plus.
- Excellent command of English; German and/or French are considered a strong advantage.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives spanning Finance, Risk, Operations, Front Office and regulatory transformation.
