We are currently looking for a Working Student to join the EU Business Legal DACH Team! The position will be based in our Frankfurt office.

About The Job

We are looking for a motivated Working Student to support the Business Legal DACH team and the wider Legal department on the day-to-day use and further development of Legal AI and technology-enabled workflows.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of law and technology, helping to translate recurring legal use cases into structured prompts, playbooks, templates, and AI-supported solutions. You will work closely with legal professionals, contributing to the implementation and optimization of Legal AI tools while gaining valuable experience in Legal Tech, generative AI, and workflow automation within an international asset management environment.

What You Do

• Support the day-to-day use, testing, and documentation of Legal AI tools and workflows used by the Business Legal DACH team and the wider Legal team
• Help design AI-based solutions, including building workflows and agents, as well as drafting playbooks and templates for recurring legal use cases
• Work closely with lawyers to translate legal requirements into structured inputs for AI-enabled tools
• Help maintain and extend internal know-how resources, including clause libraries, prompt collections, and template repositories for the wider Legal team
• Prepare and structure content such as clause libraries, precedent collections, and metadata tags for use in AI tools, including data clean-up and quality checks in Microsoft 365
• Support testing and benchmarking of AI tool outputs and help maintain internal user guides and training materials for Legal AI usage
• Provide ad-hoc support to lawyers on Legal AI use cases, including desk research on Legal Tech and AI market developments
• Contribute to internal know-how initiatives and continuous improvement of technology-enabled legal processes.
  
  

What You Bring

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Law, Legal Tech, Business Informatics, Information Systems, or a comparable field with a strong interest in legal work
• Availability as a working student for up to 20 hours per week during the semester, with a minimum availability of six months
• Confident user of Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams
• Comfortable learning and adopting new digital tools independently
• Exposure to generative AI tools such as Copilot or Claude, or low-code/no-code platforms, would be an advantage
• Strong interest in Legal Tech, generative AI, and workflow automation, with motivation to work at the intersection of technology and legal practice
• Fluent in English with the ability to work in an international environment; German language skills are a plus
• Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented working style with strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently on defined tasks
• Previous working student or internship experience in a legal, consulting, or financial services environment would be beneficial
• Basic understanding of AI engineering or initial experience with prompt engineering and evaluation of AI outputs would be a plus
• Ability to use Microsoft Copilot, with a strong commitment to ethical and responsible AI practices.
