About Our Client

For our Client, a well-established Polish confectionery manufacturer with a strong market presence and a long-standing history of success both domestically and internationally, we are currently seeking an experienced professional for the position of:

Country Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth and building the long-term presence of the company's brands within the assigned international market.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies for the assigned market.
• Take full ownership of sales targets and business development activities.
• Identify and acquire new customers, importers, distributors, and business partners.
• Develop relationships with key accounts and retail chains.
• Prepare commercial offers and deliver sales presentations.
• Negotiate business terms with customers and strategic partners.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and identify new business opportunities.
• Cooperate closely with the Marketing Department in executing market-specific initiatives.
• Ensure profitability of managed projects and commercial activities.
• Monitor outstanding payments and support effective receivables management.
• Manage Private Label projects and ensure achievement of sales objectives.
• Coordinate all sales-related documentation required within the assigned market in cooperation with business partners.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of B2B sales experience within the FMCG sector.
• Proven hands-on experience in the confectionery industry, including categories such as chocolate products, sugar confectionery, gummies, sweets, or other impulse product categories.
• Strong understanding of the confectionery market and its distribution channels.
• Well-established network of contacts among importers, distributors, retail chains, and key customers operating within the confectionery sector.
• Proven experience in managing Key Accounts and cooperating with retail chains.
• Ability to independently develop new markets and build sales channels from the ground up.
• Strong commercial acumen and highly developed negotiation skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong focus on achieving ambitious business goals.
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
• Good command of English, enabling effective business communication in an international environment.
