This Crisis Resilience Management team aims to provide a framework for managing incidents and crises, minimizing the impact of such disruptions and ensuring a coordinated and effective response to safeguard assets, reputation and stakeholders. Resilience is the ability of an organization to foresee, prepare for, and adapt to disruption while maintaining continuous operations and safeguarding its people, assets, and reputation. As part of its crisis resilience management, Deutsche Börse AG aims at further increasing the organization’s crisis management capabilities.

Your Responsibilities

• Support the maintenance and enhancement of incident and crisis management governance, including escalation processes and call trees.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of incident and crisis management documentation, procedures, and supporting materials.
• Support the administration and testing of tools used for crisis communication and coordination, including backup solutions.
• Assist with annual reviews of the incident and crisis management framework and related processes.
• Support the preparation of management reports, presentations, workshops, exercises, and awareness activities.
• Conduct research on emerging threats, industry developments, regulatory requirements, and best practices in resilience and crisis management.
• Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across the organization on resilience-related initiatives and projects.
  
  
  

Your profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Information Technology, or a related field, or currently in the final stages of your studies.
• Previous internship, working student experience, or academic exposure in risk management, resilience, crisis management, business continuity, cybersecurity, consulting, financial services, or a related field is considered a plus.
• Strong interest in crisis management, operational resilience, and organizational risk topics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with different stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a structured and proactive working style.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Good research and presentation skills, with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• Knowledge of operational resilience, cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, or risk management concepts would be advantageous but is not required.
• Fluency in English; German language skills would be beneficial.
