For our growing deal pipeline we are looking for a highly motivated Analyst who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to join an international team of experienced professionals focusing on advisory roles in the energy & infrastructure sector and the energy transition in Europe.

Analyst - M&A Advisory Energy & Infrastructure (FFM) (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities

• Support the execution of buy-side, sell-side and capital raising transactions
• Build and maintain financial models and valuation analyses
• Conduct company, industry and market research
• Analyse comparable companies and precedent transactions
• Prepare client presentations, pitch materials, information memoranda and other transaction documentation
• Support due diligence processes and transaction workstreams
• Prepare investor and buyer analyses and support business development initiatives
• Contribute to the team's sector knowledge, databases and market intelligence
  
  

Requirements

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, transaction advisory or infrastructure finance; outstanding graduates with relevant infrastructure M&A internships may also be considered
• Previous exposure to infrastructure, energy or related sectors strongly preferred
• Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities
• Good understanding of financial modelling and valuation
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
• High attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
• Intellectual curiosity, commercial mindset and strong work ethic
• Entrepreneurial and collaborative attitude
• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken, are essential
• International experience or exposure to cross-border transactions is advantageous

In accordance with the collective agreement for bank employees and bankers, we ensure a remuneration that is in line with market standards and adjusted to your experience and qualifications. According to the collective agreement, the salary for this position starts at EUR 70.000,00 euros.
