Role Purpose
The Sales Support Associate plays a key role in supporting the sales and client coverage activities of Aegon Asset Management within the DACH region. The position is focused on enabling commercial success through high-quality sales coordination, client servicing support, CRM management, marketing collateral preparation, and business development support.
The role acts as a central point of coordination for the DACH distribution team and helps ensure an excellent client experience while maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of sales activities. The position will work closely with the Institutional Sales and Wholesale teams, supporting business development efforts, client engagement, and the efficient execution of strategic sales initiatives.

Role Purpose

Sales & Client Support
- Support the DACH distribution team in the preparation of client presentations, pitchbooks, due diligence questionnaires (DDQs), RFPs and marketing materials.
- Coordinate responses to client and prospect information requests.
- Ensure timely follow-up on internal and external sales-related action items.
- Assist in the preparation and organization of client meetings, roadshows, webinars and industry events.
- Manage meeting logistics, agendas, documentation and follow-up tracking.
- Maintain accurate client and prospect records within Salesforce and other approved systems.
- Support pipeline management, sales reporting and activity tracking.
- Monitor data quality and ensure client information is up to date.
- Produce regular sales management reports and dashboards.
- Coordinate the distribution of marketing materials, fund updates and thought leadership content.
- Work closely with Product, Marketing and Investment teams to gather information required for client presentations and commercial initiatives.
- Support product launch activities and commercial campaigns across Continental Europe.
- Assist in organizing client events and conference participation.
- Conduct competitor, market and distribution research.
- Monitor industry developments relevant to institutional and wholesale distribution channels.
- Prepare briefing materials for management and client meetings.
- Support strategic projects within the Continental Europe distribution business.
- Support adherence to internal sales processes and commercial governance requirements.
- Maintain organized records of client interactions and sales activities.
- Assist in the preparation of management presentations, business reviews and sales planning exercises.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in asset management, wealth management, banking or financial services.
- Experience supporting sales, relationship management or business development teams.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems (preferably Salesforce).
- Fluency in German and English (written and spoken).
- High-quality and timely delivery of sales materials.
- Accuracy and completeness of CRM data.
- Efficient coordination of client and prospect activities.
- Positive feedback from sales team members and clients.
- Effective support of business development initiatives and strategic projects.
- Contribution to sales pipeline visibility and commercial effectiveness.
