Our client is a Digital Assets company based in Frankfurt, who is looking to hire a Head of AML & Compliance - Crypto (m/f/d).
Job Description
- Lead and continuously enhance the quality of the company's AML and compliance work
- Monitor regulatory developments and ensure ongoing compliance with applicable requirements
- Support the development and implementation of internal policies, procedures, and controls
- Conduct risk assessments and identify areas for improvement across compliance-related processes
- Manage interactions with regulatory authorities, auditors, and external partners
- Oversee transaction monitoring, suspicious activity assessment, and escalation processes
- Provide compliance guidance to business and technology stakeholders
- Deliver training and awareness initiatives across the organization
- Contribute to the company's broader governance and risk management activities
- Several years of experience in AML, Compliance, Financial Crime Prevention, or Regulatory Risk
- Experience within banking, payments, fintech, e-money, securities, digital assets, or another regulated financial services environment
- Strong understanding of AML regulations, compliance frameworks, and regulatory expectations
- Ability to work independently and drive initiatives with limited bureaucracy
- Solution-oriented mindset with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Digital asset or crypto exposure is beneficial but explicitly not required
- Fluent English and German are required
- Entrepreneurial environment with short decision paths
- High degree of personal ownership and responsibility
- Innovative financial technology and digital asset ecosystem
- Ability to work in the office in Frankfurt for 3-4 days every week, 1-2 days home office weekly
- Competitive compensation package of up to 150.000 EUR (base salary including bonus)
