Astute's Data Centre Team has partnered with an international construction and engineering contractor specializing in large-scale, mission critical infrastructure projects to recruit a Regional EHS Manager who will be based in Frankfurt, Germany.

Responsibilities Of The Regional EHS Manager Role

Reporting to the EHS Director, you will:

• Lead and manage EHS Advisors across multiple hyperscale Data Centre construction projects.
• Oversee EHS performance across the regional project portfolio, ensuring consistent standards, policies and procedures are implemented across all sites.
• Monitor compliance with relevant in-country EHS legislations.
• Conduct regular site visits, audits and inspections, identifying areas for improve and driving continuous improvement in EHS performance.
• Work closely with project leadership teams, subcontractors and site teams to promote a proactive safety culture, manage EHS risks and ensure best practice is embedded throughout project delivery.
  
  

Required Qualifications And Experience

To be considered, you must have:

• 8+ years in EHS leadership roles, ideally experience with EHS legislation in Germany.
• Degree or equivalent in professional qualification in a relevant field.
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience managing EHS on large-scale construction projects, ideally Data Centres or mission-critical projects.
• MUST hold an EU passport, or have Right to Work in Germany.
  
  

Desirable Experience

It would be an advantage, but is not essential, to have:

• Experience managing at a regional level, overseeing large-scale projects internationally.
  
  

Salary And Benefits

• Salary: Competitive Salary, can be discussed in a call.
• Contract: Permanent
• Working pattern: Monday - Friday (8am-6pm) OR 10-4 Rotation.
• Location: On-site role, based in Frankfurt with site visits.
• Benefits: €20k living allowance in addition to salary. Flights and accommodation or travel allowance.
