About The Role

The Senior Technology Trainer is an integral part of Latham’s Technology & Information Services team. This role will be responsible for providing a variety of professional, high-level technology training services through in-person and remote training delivery. Additionally, they will work with global and local training and technology teams to develop and implement effective training programs using a variety of educational skills and tools. This role will be located in our Frankfurt office.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

• Providing assistance and training to end users for firm-approved applications in a variety of different methods (e.g., classroom, one-on-one, video, online eLearning systems and remote virtual learning)
• Consulting with attorneys and business services colleagues in the office and across other locations to identify training needs, creating classes designed to promote learning and the most effective use of technology
• Conducting training needs analysis and supporting the development of innovative programs to meet those needs and promote the use of technology to improve individual and team performance
• Building a comprehensive knowledge of the workflow, applications and practices of lawyers and other employees to support the delivery of consultative training
• Evaluating and customising training in order to meet the specific needs for new hire and onboarding training, technology rollout training, or ongoing education initiatives
• Actively contributing ideas for service improvement including new courses, delivery, and learning methods using a continuous improvement frame work
  
  
  

We’d love to hear from you if you:

• Display the ability to be flexible in approach and delivery, with the ability to translate business training requirements into successful training implementations with demonstrable and measurable results
• Exhibit well-developed and professional interpersonal skills; with the ability to interact effectively with people at all organisational levels of the firm
• Possess excellent presentation skills with an ability to deliver engaging learning to an audience for instructional purposes, in-person and remotely, both in German and English
  
  
  

And have:

• Experience of training and/or teaching, ideally software, and working within a law firm, or wide professional services environments, preferably
• Knowledge and proficiency in a wide variety of software programs, including Windows and Microsoft Office (latest versions), document management systems, timekeeping software, and communications technologies
• Fluent proficiency both in German and English
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably
