Internship or Working Student "Network Planning (m/f/d)" - #2087858

As “Intern Network Planning (m/f/d)”, you will support the Network Planning team of SunExpress a joint venture of Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines with their task to establish a profitable flight program out of the key airports in Turkey as well as identify further network opportunities to widen the existing portfolio

Tasks

• Improve the existing network based on pre-defined KPIs
• Help develop and establish new routes and destinations
• Closely aligning with the other members of the network planning team to ensure an optimized network
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to cope with TRY/EUR parity challenging on our domestic network
• Monitor booking development and competitor landscape
• Internal coordination with sales, revenue management, scheduling, marketing, public relations and strategy department
• Project work and preparation of board/decision papers

Requirements

min. 6 months working period is required

• Studies of transport, tourism, logistics, economics or other aviation related fields
• Previous work experience with an airline and/or tour operator advantageous
• Very good sense of numbers, analytical thinking as well as quick-wittedness and the ability to understand complex issues
• Exceptional understanding and knowledge of the global airline industry with focus on Europe
• Very good MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), but Excel in particular
• Very good communication skills and the ability to work in a team
• Very good English speaking and writing skills
• Good German language speaking skill
