Business Consultant – Asset Management Platforms

Location - Frankfurt

Language requirements - Fluent German and English

This role sits within a global delivery function responsible for onboarding clients onto a SaaS asset management platform. You will support the delivery of complex implementation projects, applying your expertise in asset management, investment operations, and accounting, while working closely with client stakeholders and internal teams.

You will play a key role in translating business requirements into practical solutions, ensuring delivery remains aligned to scope, timelines, and client expectations.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of client onboarding projects, ensuring requirements are clearly defined and effectively implemented
• Apply expertise in investment accounting and operational processes to guide solution design
• Engage directly with clients, including senior stakeholders, providing clear communication throughout delivery
• Manage expectations and challenge scope where required to maintain realistic and achievable outcomes
• Work across areas such as trade lifecycle, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve platform capabilities and delivery processes
• Contribute to documentation, training materials, and knowledge sharing

Essential skills & experience:

• Experience in investment operations, accounting, or platform delivery within asset management, insurance, or financial services
• Strong knowledge of investment accounting, investment operations, or German regulatory frameworks, including HGB and IFRS
• Proven experience in client-facing roles, with the ability to engage credibly with senior stakeholders
• Prior experience with Asset and Investment Management Platforms (e.g. SimCorp Dimension, Charles River, BlackRock Aladdin, Bloomberg AIM) would be highly beneficial
• Involvement in transformation or SaaS implementation projects would be beneficial
• Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
