I'm currently partnering exclusively with a fast-growing, internationally recognised environmental commodities intermediary that has established a significant presence in the European market since its founding.

Backed by one of Europe's leading investment firms and recognised by major industry award programmes, this business is expanding its Frankfurt operation and looking to bring on two commercially driven Sales Traders to own the German market.

This is a genuinely exciting role the company operates across the full spectrum of environmental products (bio methane, THG/GHG quotas, renewable fuels, carbon credits, GOs, EECs, PPAs) and is well-positioned in a market that is only growing in regulatory and commercial importance.

The Role

You'll be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of German clients and counter parties, brokering and trading across environmental products including bio methane certificates, THG quotas, renewable fuels, and environmental certificates. You'll run your own BD pipeline, negotiate and close commercial transactions, and build long-term relationships with producers, suppliers, traders, and obligated parties — all while staying close to regulatory developments shaping the German market.

What I'm Looking For

• Strong German speaker with fluent English non-negotiable
• 2 3 years of experience in environmental commodities, renewable energy, commodity brokerage, or energy sales trading
• Hands-on exposure to one or more of: bio methane, THG/GHG quotas, biofuels, Guarantees of Origin, or renewable certificates
• Candidates coming from similar firms, broker houses, or renewable trading firms are strongly preferred
• EU citizen or valid German work permit no visa sponsorship available
• Based in Frankfurt or open to relocating
• All Commute costs covered

The ideal profile is commercially aggressive, relationship-oriented, and comfortable generating new business independently. If you're analytical but haven't been client-facing, this one isn't for you.
