As we continue to grow in Germany, we are looking for a Senior Banking Consultant to join our team in Frankfurt and play a key role in building our German banking consulting practice.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to combine client delivery, business transformation and practice growth. You will work on strategic projects in the banking sector while helping shape FiSer’s presence in the German market.

What you’ll do

As a Senior Banking Consultant, you will support banks and financial services clients with transformation, regulatory and operational change initiatives.

You will:

• Lead and deliver banking transformation projects.
• Manage project scope, planning, stakeholders, timelines and outcomes.
• Support change management and process improvement initiatives.
• Advise clients on banking operations, finance, risk, compliance and regulatory change.
• Work with senior stakeholders.
• Support digital transformation and operating model improvement.
• Contribute to the growth of FiSer’s banking consulting practice in Germany.
• Mentor and collaborate with consultants across Germany and the Netherlands.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for an experienced consultant or banking professional with strong project delivery skills and a solid understanding of financial services.

You’ll be a great fit if you have:

• 6+ years of experience in banking or financial services, ideally within a bank, consultancy, or fintech.
• Experience in business transformation, change management, process improvement or regulatory projects.
• Strong project management skills.
• Deep expertise in banking functions, including Finance, Risk Management, Operations, and Regulatory frameworks.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in helping grow a consulting practice.
• Fluent German and English communication skills (written & verbal).
• Based in Germany and authorized to work there

Nice to have:

• Experience in consulting or advisory.
• Network within the German financial services market.
• Experience with digital transformation, operating model design or regulatory implementation.
