Head of Project Development - #2630985

As Head of Project Development, you will take full ownership of origination and growth strategy across a renewable energy portfolio in Germany.

• Lead site acquisition, origination, and early-stage development activities
• Drive both greenfield project development and M&A / project acquisitions
• Identify and execute new opportunities in wind, solar, and storage
• Manage and grow a small, high-impact development team
• Act as a key interface with landowners, partners, and investors
• Oversee projects through the early development phase to handover

This is a highly commercial, outward-facing role with a strong focus on building pipeline and driving growth through both development and transactions.

Desired Skills and Experience

Proven background in renewable energy project development, with strong exposure to site acquisition and early-stage development (wind, solar, BESS or similar)
Demonstrated experience in M&A / project acquisition, including deal sourcing, evaluation, and execution
Ability to operate across both greenfield development and acquisition-driven growth strategies
Strong commercial mindset, with experience engaging landowners, partners, and institutional stakeholders
Solid understanding of project economics, structuring, and investment considerations
Highly proactive, extroverted, and relationship-driven personality, comfortable leading from the front in origination
Experience leading or mentoring teams, or clear readiness to step into a leadership role
