Location: Frankfurt (with flexibility for project-based travel)

Salary: €70,000 – €90,000 + package (based on experience)

Job Description

The Resolute Group is supporting a leading international consultancy in the search for a Cost Manager to support the delivery of major Data Centre developments across Germany and Austria.

Working within a fast-growing and highly collaborative team, you will play a key role in the successful commercial delivery of large-scale, mission-critical projects. This position requires a confident, client-facing professional with strong German project experience and the ability to provide commercial advice, challenge solutions, and build long-term stakeholder relationships.

The environment is international, dynamic, and delivery-focused, with an Anglo-Saxon style of working that promotes accountability, collaboration, and proactive problem solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing project costs throughout the full project lifecycle, from feasibility through to final account
• Preparing cost plans, estimates, budgets, and commercial reports for clients and stakeholders
• Leading procurement and tendering processes, including contractor negotiations and bid evaluations
• Providing commercial and strategic advice to clients, identifying risks, opportunities, and value engineering solutions
• Monitoring project expenditure, forecasting costs, and managing change control processes
• Supporting contract administration and ensuring commercial compliance throughout project delivery
• Liaising confidently with clients, consultants, contractors, and wider project teams across multiple disciplines
• Contributing to the successful delivery of technically complex Data Centre projects within live or critical environments
• Supporting the continued growth of an expanding Data Centre division across Germany and Austria

Requirements:

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Commercial Management, or a related discipline
• Strong experience working on construction projects within Germany is essential
• Previous experience within Data Centres, mission-critical, industrial, or technically complex projects advantageous, but German project experience is most important
• Good understanding of German construction contracts, procurement processes, and commercial management practices
• Confident communicator with the ability to engage with clients and provide solutions-focused advice
• Proactive, commercially aware, and capable of working within a fast-paced delivery environment
• Willingness to travel depending on project requirements
• Fluent English required; German language skills advantageous but not essential
