The STS Group is a leading Electrical & Instrumentation Contractor specialising in heavy industrial construction. We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to join our upcoming project in Germany. As our next Construction Manager, you'll work closely with the wider project leadership team to support the safe and timely delivery of the project for our clients. We require someone with a proven track record in the construction and management of heavy industrial or mission-critical projects - such as data centres, pharmaceutical or energy infrastructure. Key to this role will be the ability to effectively manage teams of leaders, as well as a thorough understanding of our HSEQ and Sustainability obligations.

Reporting to the Project Manager, here are some of the key duties of this role:
- Lead and oversee the full lifecycle of the project, ensuring delivery meets or exceeds industry standards.
- Drive each of the project performance parameters with respect to quality, time, budget, and client/stakeholder satisfaction.
- Cultivate a collaborative and efficient team culture, setting clear objectives and performance standards for all project teams.
- Develop and implement construction processes and standards for the project, ensuring best practices and compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare, review, and present comprehensive weekly reports covering progress, schedule, incidents, procurement, and risks; maintain accurate meeting minutes and action tracking.
- Resource & Performance Management: Monitor labour, materials, equipment, and milestones to optimise efficiency, prevent delays, and ensure cost-effective, high-quality project delivery.
- Lead initiatives to ensure the highest safety standards are achieved, while optimising project delivery and mitigating risks.
- Identify opportunities for improvement, innovation, and collaboration for STS Group across the Nordic region.
Key Qualifications Required:
- 10+ years in construction management roles focused on electrical packages of work.
- Relevant electrical engineering degree or trades qualification(s)
- Exceptional technical knowledge of MEP systems, infrastructure, and security requirements for large industrial projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
