About The Role

A&M’s CFO Services team, part of the Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) practice in Germany, supports private equity investors, portfolio companies and corporates in transforming and improving finance functions to drive sustainable performance improvements.

Our CFO Services professionals work alongside management teams to enhance financial transparency, optimise working capital and liquidity, improve finance operations, redesign operating models and support large-scale finance transformation programmes. We bring a hands-on approach and work directly with clients to deliver measurable results.

Due to continued growth and strong client demand, we are seeking a Senior Associate (m/f/d) to join our CFO Services team in Germany.

How You Will Contribute

• Deliver CFO Services engagements across finance transformation, finance operating model design, working capital improvement and liquidity management programmes
• Analyse financial and operational data to identify performance improvement opportunities and develop actionable recommendations
• Assess and redesign finance functions, including organisational structures, processes, governance models and performance management frameworks
• Support clients in improving cash flow performance through initiatives across accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory management and cash forecasting
• Contribute to finance process optimisation and digital transformation initiatives, including shared services, process standardisation and operating model improvements
• Collaborate closely with senior client stakeholders and cross-functional A&M teams to deliver sustainable results
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience gained in management consulting, finance transformation, CFO advisory, restructuring, performance improvement or a related professional services environment
• Experience delivering finance transformation, CFO advisory, performance improvement or related consulting engagements
• Strong understanding of financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow mechanics
• Ability to develop financial analyses and business models and translate findings into practical recommendations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a hands-on mindset
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to take ownership and drive projects independently
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent German and English language skills
• Master’s degree or equivalent academic qualification
